Starflower Scabiosa

Small, pale blue blossoms on wiry stems transform into highly decorative, bronze-coloured geometric seed heads. We grow it here at the farm for the stunning seed pods (what the photo is of).

Sow: Start indoors 4 to 6 weeks before your last frost.  Do not cover seed as light is required for germination.

Days to Maturity: 90 - 95 days

Plant Spacing: 9" to 15"

These seeds are originally from Johnny's Seeds.  They were not produced here at the farm.  These are the same seeds we plant to produce our 2-acre flower field.  As I always order extra, I have repackaged the seeds into smaller quantities to allow you the opportunity to grow them, too (as not everyone needs 1000 seeds!).
