Sunflowers are an easy grow — but one that critters in your garden may love to snack on. Spacing plays a big role in bloom size: the closer you plant them, the smaller the flowers will be. At the farm, we plant them as close as 5 cm (2 in) apart to keep blooms bouquet-sized. For the longest vase life, harvest when 2–3 petals have just lifted off the centre.

These seeds are originally from Johnny's Seeds. They were not produced here at the farm. These are the same seeds we plant to produce our 2-acre flower field. As I always order extra, I have repackaged the seeds into smaller quantities to allow you the opportunity to grow them, too (as not everyone needs 1000 seeds!).
